The Annual Campaign ensures access and opportunity to Y programs and services regardless of age, background or ability to pay. Since 1993, our Y has raised more than $163.8 million in support of stronger communities.

Powered by our Annual Campaign, grants and private donations, the Y is able to provide several programs at no cost to participants, ensuring everyone can access resources that support a stronger, healthier region.

Camp Excel

No‑cost summer day camp that includes transportation, meals, academic enrichment, positive role models, character development and all the traditional day camp fun.

Healthy Weight and Your Child

Weight-management program focusing on healthy eating, physical activity and behavior change to empower children and families to live healthier and more active lifestyles.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA

Evidence‑based program for adult cancer survivors that brings participants together in a small‑group setting to rebuild health and fitness alongside others who share similar experiences.

Power Scholars

Offered in partnership with Wake and Chatham County public schools, providing targeted summer math and reading support to help students meet and exceed grade‑level benchmarks.

Swim for Life

Ensures all children and adults can access essential water safety education and learn to swim.

Y Learning Intervention

Targeted academic support in reading or math, delivered by certified teachers in partnership with schools, for students identified as needing additional instruction.
