All outdoor pools are open from May – September and some pools are heated and offer swim opportunities year-round!
Please check each location for specific hours of operation. Remember, weekends are YMCA member-only; guest passes are not available.

Policies, Guidelines & Procedures
We welcome guests of members at our outdoor pools, Monday through Friday. Weekends and summer holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July Fourth and Labor Day) are reserved for YMCA Members only. Please check with your location. YMCA guest fees and general policies can be found here.
Please observe all pool rules posted at YMCA indoor and outdoor pools. If you have questions or need further assistance, please speak with an Aquatics staff member at your branch.
The top three rules at all YMCA pools are:
- Leave all glass, alcohol and pets at home.
- Inflatable items, such as water wings, inner tubes and rafts, are prohibited in YMCA pools.
- Children and non-swimmers must be actively supervised by an adult age 18 and older at all times.
Active supervision means being within arm's length of a non-swimmer in the water (i.e. a child under 18 who has not passed the YMCA swim assessment) at all times. Active supervision also means ensuring all non-swimmers have USCG-approved life jackets at all times.
All YMCA indoor and outdoor pools will close during inclement weather and remain closed for 30 minutes after the last occurrence of thunder or lightning. All members and guests must leave the pool deck. Outdoor pool members and guests must leave the pool deck and wait in vehicles when an outdoor pool closes for thunder or lightning.
We use swim bands to easily identify swimmers of different skill levels. If children ages 13 and younger want to use designated areas of the pool and ride the slides, they need to earn a swim band. Specific swim assessment proficiencies can be found at each outdoor pool. Learn more about YMCA swim assessments here.
Children ages 13 and younger who have not passed a swim band assessment require active adult supervision at all times and are limited to designated areas. Active adult supervision means: An adult must have continuous visual contact with the child (i.e. not reading or lap swimming).
For children ages 10 and younger, an adult must be in the water and within arm's reach of the child at all times, or the child must be wearing a coast guard approved personal flotation device.

Most YMCAs have Facebook groups dedicated to their outdoor pools. We encourage you to check these groups if you are concerned about the weather prior to coming out.
