Financial Assistance

Thanks to donations to our Annual Campaign, the YMCA of the Triangle is able to provide financial assistance for children, teens, adults, and families who cannot afford the full cost of YMCA programs and/or membership.

Financial Assistance FAQs

Financial assistance is available to everyone in our region, including Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Orange, and Wake counties in North Carolina.

We encourage all who need assistance to apply.

You'l need basic information about your family and the people who live with you. You'll also need supporting documentation for dependents and income. This could be tax forms, or SSI paperwork or benefit summaries.

Financial assistance for YMCA memberships is good for up to two years. Financial assistance for programs must be renewed annually.

Financial Assistance: Membership

The YMCA can help offset the cost of membership up to 50% based on household income and other extenuating factors. We encourage all to apply.
